On July 4, Max Casino Carson City will host its inaugural Hot Dog Eating Championship. Six contestants will go bun-to-bun to see who can eat 10 hot dogs the fastest in 10 minutes.

The Silver City Preservation Society and Silver City Arts invite everyone to the Silver City Park on July 2, from 2-7 PM for a day of live music, food and drink, lawn games, an art show, cake raffle and more.

Nevada Center for the Book (a Library of Congress Affiliate) is a program of Nevada Humanities dedicated to promoting literature and literacy throughout the Silver State.
