Thursday, Nov. 2: Things to do in Carson City and beyond
We’ve got a wine walk weekend coming our way, come rain, snow, or shine. This one could get a little blustery; there’s a storm moving in. I’m just grateful that Mother Nature waited until after the parade and trick-or-treat night to send us some winter. Today you’ll find a celebration of El Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, at the Nevada State Museum. This event, along with another one on Saturday, comes complete with free admission, courtesy of the Nevada Mining Association and Western Nevada Materials. Meet author Camille May at Browsers Corner this evening. She’ll be signing copies of her new book, Rescued.
