Quad region COVID-19 update Wednesday: Two Carson City youth among 11 new cases
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Wed, 07/22/2020 - 6:07pmCarson City Health and Human Services is reporting Wednesday, July 22, 2020 that there are 11 new positive cases and 14 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County region. This brings the total number of cases to 543, with 396 recoveries and nine deaths, 138 cases remain active.
Carson City Brewfest cancelled due to COVID-19, rescheduled for 2021

The annual event, which funds the Rotary Club’s scholarships and youth programs, featured several dozen regional breweries and distilleries. The club has set the date of June 26, 2021 for the next Brewfest.

AYSO Carson City Youth Soccer opens fall 2020 registration for kids of all ages

Registration for the upcoming fall season is open for kids ages 3-18. Early bird registration ends July 15 and can be made online or in-person at Yogurt Beach, located at 3228 N. Carson St. in Carson City. In-person registration will be held Wednesday, July 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, July 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Carson City Kiwanis announces Virtual Meals on Wheels Fundraiser as a success

The event raised $3,855.44, including a $1,000 anonymous donation and a donation from the club itself of $1,000 donation.

Her last day is Thursday as she and her husband Bob will be relocating to Oregon.
