Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Tuesday afternoon to Highway 50 East in the area of Flint Road for a bicycle rider who suffered a medical issue.

An injury accident was reported in front of the Carson City Airport just afternoon p.m. on Saturday.

Dispatch advised a motorcyclist hit a curb and crashed and the rider was down.

First responders are enroute. Avoid the area if possible.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Thursday afternoon to a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle near the intersection of West College Parkway and Oak Ridge Drive.

UPDATE: This matter is under investigation. According to NHP a man was on an ATV and for an unknown reason he was dismounted from the ATV and struck by two vehicles. The drivers of the two vehicles pulled over. NHP is investigating that the ATV driver was initially hit earlier by a vehicle, that fled the scene and that the victim was hit again by the two other vehicles (which then stopped.) We will update as more information becomes available.

The Nevada Highway Patrol is reporting a pedestrian fatality that happened Sunday night in the area of Highway 50 and Mark Twain Avenue in Dayton.

An NHP spokeswoman said the rider of an ATV had dismounted from the vehicle and was in a travel lane when he was struck by two vehicles.

A 33-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested in the area of South Carson Street for misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and carless driving after riding a motorcycle unsafely, causing other vehicles on the roadway to slow and alter their direction of travel, a Carson City sheriff's report states.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Monday afternoon to a vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in the area of South Carson and Moses streets.

The Nevada Highway Patrol has identified a 34-year-old Reno man who died in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon in Storey County.

Carson High School will again open its doors a little wider and longer for the 3rd Annual Back-to-School Night like no other Sept. 9. Events include an artists fair at Carson Mall, the 60th annual camel and ostrich races in Virginia City, a memorial run in Carson City, the 28th annual Oktoberfest in Gardnerville, a Veterans Resource Fair at Carson Nugget, history walks at Mormon Station Park, live comedy and more.

UPDATE: The injured motorcycle rider was treated by Carson City Fire Department personnel and flown via Care Flight to the trauma ward at Renown Medical Center in Reno, said battalion Chief Jason Danen. His condition is unknown at this time.

Carson City Fire Department was called Sunday afternoon to the Brunswick Canyon area for an injured motorcycle rider in the backcountry. A CareFlight helicopter was ordered and landed in the area near the patient.
