A 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 4000 block of Furnace Creek Road on five felony warrants including three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, and two counts of domestic battery with a deadly weapon.

According to the arrest report, Michael Craig Henson Jr. was arrested on the original crime, which involved the use o a firearm and machete.

The words floated through the dark, night air, but Stacia couldn’t make sense of them.

A 44-year-old Carson City woman and a 61-year-old Carson City man were arrested in the 2600 block of Blossom View Lane Friday afternoon for suspicion of felony child abuse, possession with intent to sell a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and trafficking a controlled substance level 1.

According to the report, Robin Marie Jensen and Steven Scott Brown were arrested by Tri-NET Narcotic Task Force detectives after receiving information that Jensen and Brown were actively selling methamphetamine out of their residence.

On January 2nd, Detectives from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, along with the Tri-County Gang Unit and the ATF, served a search warrant on a residence in Silver Springs. A 43-year-old man was arrested by Carson City deputies in the 5100 block of S. Carson Street Thursday evening for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, a stop sign violation, not using a turn signal, and using a private drive to avoid traffic control devices.

According to the report, Jeffery Royce Atkins was arrested by Special Enforcement Team deputies after observing a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign when turning into a grocery store parking lot from Koontz.

Deputies advised the driver also failed to use a turn signal when entering the lot.
