Carson City animal shelter needs volunteer foster help, slashes adoption fees

Our primary goal right now is to reduce the number of animals housed at our shelters in an effort to avoid overcrowding should we need to restrict our services or close altogether.

CASI's March 26 Understanding Your Pet's Behavior presentation to be postponed

We plan on bringing Kelley back April 30 for a seminar titled "Why Does My Dog Do That" and continue the series with a different topic each month through October.

Carson City couple stuck on cruise ship 'thrilled' to learn of effort to bring them back home

Rally planned to honor Reno murder victim: On Saturday, March 21 family and friends of Sierra Ceccarelli will gather at 10:00 a.m. at the Reno City Plaza to remember Sierra and push for answers as to why the case has yet to move forward two years after it was transferred to the Lyon County District Attorney because of a conflict.

The negative result includes the family member (a Huffaker student) of the resident who tested presumptive positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.
