Nevada Highway Patrol reports vehicle versus pedestrian fatality on U.S. 395 north of Minden
Submitted by Brett Fisher on Sat, 12/15/2018 - 10:07amUPDATE: 3:30PM: NHP continues to investigate a fatal pedestrian versus vehicle crash Saturday morning that claimed the life of the pedestrian.
According to NHP, the pedestrian was walking on the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 395 near the Cradlebaugh Bridge north of Minden when struck by the vehicle.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at scene by medical personnel, NHP said.
Alcohol, drugs or speed do not seem to be a factor in the crash, NHP said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
