Santa Train opens 34th season at the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City
Holiday magic has returned to the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City, where the Santa Train has pulled into Wabuska Station for the next three weekends before Christmas.
Featuring the charm of vintage rail cars and red caboose, the historic Virginia and Truckee Railroad Engine No. 25 steam locomotive powers the Santa Train around the Nevada State Railroad Museum property. The Santa Train has created a tradition of spreading Christmas cheer to families for the past 34 years.
Tickets to ride the Santa Train cost $5 for all riders. Children 2 and under who sit on an adult's lap ride for free. Advance tickets are available online at https://bit.ly/2Oj5dQs
The Santa Train runs every half hour from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 23.
