Carson City Downtown Wine Walk makes a refreshing return
Dozens strolled the streets and soaked in the summer heat during the Carson City Downtown Wine Walk on Saturday.
From 1 to 5 p.m., participants had the chance to visit more than 30 local spots pouring wines and other alcoholic beverages to fill up Carson Street in a hurry.
“This is my first time being here and I’m just enjoying it,” participant Casey Currie said. “It’s fun to just kick back and relax and look at some of the views.”
Members of the Carson City and Lyon County Democrats organization also made an appearance.
“We’re creating some positive waves being here,” Lyon County Democrats Chair Judy Zabolocky said. “We have gotten comments from the folks here and it’s a great experience.”
Live music from Catfish Carl greeted attendees with a blend of classic rock and country to keep the Wine Walk packed with laughs and entertainment.
The Wine Walk is held the first Saturday of every month. Prices for the event can be found here.
Tickets can be purchased at the following locations: The Carson Nugget, Cactus Jack’s, Carson Jewelry and Loan, Bella Fiore, and Touched by Angels.
