Carson City Sheriff's Office makes multiple warrant arrests
A 46-year-old Virginia City woman turned herself into Carson City Sheriff's Office for an active warrant alleging fraud, a sheriff's booking report states.
Katherine Zimmer Souza was booked Tuesday for the warrant, which alleges gross misdemeanor unlawful acts concerning federal food stamps and theft and felony suspicion of multiple transactions involving fraud, the arrest report states. Bail: $2,500.
In other arrests:
— A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Wednesday in the 3400 block of Airport Road for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued Feb. 19, 2020 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $500.
— A 67-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Wednesday for a misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence warrant issued out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000.
— A 30-year Carson City man was arrested Tuesday in the 3800 block of Highway 50 East for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $716.
— A 32-year-old transient was booked into custody Monday for a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant issued Sept. 6, 2019 out of Dayton Township Court. Bail: $500.
