Carson City sheriff’s office bookings: Felony warrants served for sexual assault, burglary
A Dayton man was arrested Wednesday for felony warrants alleging sexual assault of a child and lewdness with a child under age of 16, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Arrested was Charles Zenith Williams. He’s being held on $250,000 bail. The warrants were issued Jan. 30, 2017 out of Carson City Justice Court. No other information was made available.
In other arrests:
— A Grass Valley, California man, Brad Lee Pinneo, was booked into Carson City jail on for multiple warrant charges alleging burglary, fraudulent use of a credit card, theft and grand larceny. The felony warrants were issued Sept. 30, 2016 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $50,000.
— A 35-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday in the 3600 block of East Nye Lane for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Michael Paul LaClaire was taken into custody at 8:39 p.m. According to the arrest report, deputies were called to a residence regarding a domestic dispute. A deputy spoke with a victim, the mother of the suspect. Deputies learned the man came home and began destroying the house, punching holes in walls and throwing furnishings around.
The victim stated she was in the kitchen trying to get the man to calm down when he came in with a pair of scissors in his hands, pointed them at her and threatened to stab her with them, the arrest report states.
She said that she took the scissors from the man and put them into a cabinet. She said the man then grabbed a large kitchen knife and pointed it at her while walking toward her and said “I’ll just use this then,” the arrest report states. She then left the house before the man could hurt her, the arrest report states.
The man was arrested for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and taken to jail. Bail: $20,000.
— A 48-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Tuesday for felony suspicion of embezzlement after allegedly allowing merchandise picked by her boyfriend to go through the register without ringing it up, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said. Janna Gay Hinsen was taken into custody at 3:38 p.m. Bail: $20,000.
— A 43-year-old woman was booked into Carson City jail Tuesday for a felony warrant alleging domestic battery with substantial bodily harm, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Ginger L. Tapia of Silver Springs was arrested in the civil division of the Carson City Sheriff’s Office after she was actively obtaining fingerprints. During the process it was revealed she had an statewide extraditable felony warrant for her arrest out of Walker River Township Justice Court in Lyon County.
She was arrested and Lyon County Sheriff’s Office was notified that she was in custody awaiting extradition. Bail: $10,000.
— A 22-year-old Shurz, Nev., man was booked into Carson City jail Wednesday, 12:15 a.m. for a misdemeanor probation violation warrant. Bail: $3,000.
— A 57-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Tuesday, 11:08 a.m. at a casino in the 5600 block of South Carson Street for a misdemeanor failure to appear civil warrant.
— A 33-year-old Carson City woman, Angila Rosa, was booked into Carson City jail Tuesday, 11:46 p.m. for a felony warrant alleging possession of a controlled substance. Bail: $2,500.
— A 65-year-old Carson City woman was booked into jail Tuesday, 6:05 p.m. for a misdemeanor warrant alleging obtaining money, goods or services under false pretenses. Bail: $500.
