Carson City deputies make DUI, felony and misdemeanor warrant arrests
A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Thursday in the area of West Winnie Lane and North Division for suspicion of DUI and speeding, a sheriff's deputy report said.
According to the Carson City Sheriff's Office booking report, a traffic stop was made on a vehicle going 36 mph in a 25 mph zone on North Carson Street. Officers made contact with the man and detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage. The man was also slurring his words. He consented to a field sobriety tests and showed signs of impairment. He provided a preliminary breath test with a result of .169 and was arrested. Bail: $1,249.
— A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday, 1:17 a.m. in the 3600 block of Goni Road for a misdemeanor bench warrant issued out of Storey County. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $2,137. Also arrested at the same location was a 26-year-old male for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000.
Warrants
— A 38-year-old Carson City man, Kerry James Weaver, was arrested Wednesday in the 800 block of North Carson Street for a felony warrant alleging aggravated stalking. Bail: $20,000.
— A 31-year-old Carson City woman, Jenawai Bell, was arrested for a felony warrant alleging theft. The warrant was issued Jan. 17, 2020 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $500.
— A 40-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday, 4:32 p.m. in the 500 block of North Carson Street for a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant issued out of Carson City Municipal Court. Bail: $740.
— A 28-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Wednesday, 8:22 a.m. for a violation of suspended sentence warrant. She was booked and released.
