October 26, 2012 (All day) Carson City, NV—The Carson City Friends of the Library CCFL is hosting a performance by award winning comedienne, Paula Poundstone to raise money for the Library. The CCFL invited Poundstone to Carson City to celebrate National Friends of the Library Week and to help raise money for the Library.
The performance will take place on Friday, October 26 at the Bob Boldrick Theater (Community Center), located at 851 East William Street in Carson City. The doors open at 7 PM.
Poundstone is an award winning, nationally known comedienne who has appeared on HBO, Bravo and National Public Radio’s weekly news quiz show, “Wait, wait…Don’t Tell Me.” Armed with a stool, microphone and can of Diet Pepsi, Poundstone’s stand-up comedy routine is hilariously funny.
