Carson City Republican Central Committee Endorses Candidates
At the general meeting and finial candidates forum held on April 24, 2014, held at Silver State High School, the members of the committee voted to endorse the following Republican candidates for 2014 elections.
The vote of the CCRCC members was the final step in a new process adopted by the Central Committee last year. All the Republican candidates that filed for office in Federal, State and Local races were invited to participate. Each candidate met with the Interview Committee to discuss questions related to themselves, their campaigns and their stands on issues. The candidates then participated in a series of forums held for the members of the CCRCC and the public to introduce themselves and answer questions by those attending the forum.
The vote to endorse a candidate required each candidate to receive a 2/3 vote of the CCRCC membership present at the meeting.
