The featured speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Lisa Schuette, who has held the Ward 4 seat on the Carson City Board of Supervisors since 2021. She is currently seeking reelection to another four year term. In addition to her service on the board, Lisa is also a member of the Audit Committee, the Regional Transportation Commission (RTC), the Carson Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO), the Board of Health, the Redevelopment Authority, the Redevelopment Authority Citizens Committee, and the Parks and Recreation Commission.

Carson City Supervisor Lisa Schuette will be hosting ‘Coffee with Lisa’ Wednesday, April 10, at the Cracker Box, 402 E. William Street from 7 to 8:30 a.m. All are welcome to come and discuss ideas, ask questions and share suggestions.

The next Coffee with Lisa will be held on April 10, 7 am at The Cracker Box, 402 E. William St. (There will not be a March gathering.) All are invited to share ideas and discuss issues.

The next Carson City Board of Supervisors meeting will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Robert ‘Bob’ Crowell Board Room in the Carson City Community Center, located at 851 E. William Street.

The next Carson City Board of Supervisors meeting will be held on Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center’s Bristlecone Room, located at 1600 Medical Parkway.

The next Coffee with Carson City Supervisor Lisa Schuette will be held April 10, 7 a.m. at the Cracker Box. Coffee with Lisa is held the second Wednesday of most months as an opportunity for community members to discuss ideas and share concerns.

Speaking at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Carson City Clerk-Recorder Scott Hoen. The services provided by the Clerk-Recorder's Office to attorneys, government agencies, the judicial system, and the general public are mandated by the Nevada Constitution and the Nevada Revised Statutes.

The featured speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Molly Walt, chief executive officer of the Nevada Rural Counties Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), where she is responsible for the overall strategic, fiscal, operational, government and community relations of the organization. She is committed and enthused to lead staff in accomplishing RSVP's mission of providing lifesaving volunteer programs that help seniors maintain their dignity, self-respect and independence.

Carson City Supervisor Lisa Schuette will be hosting Coffee with Lisa tomorrow, Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 7 to 8 a.m. at The Cracker Box, 402 E William St, Carson City. All are invited to share ideas and discuss community topics of interest.

The featured speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Carson City Mayor Lori Bagwell. Lori began her service on the Board of Supervisors in January, 2015, representing Ward 3, and was elected mayor in 2020. She is known for her budget expertise, attention to detail on contracts, her compassion for those in need, and most of all her ability to work with others for the mutual benefit of the community.

The featured speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Chris Martinovich, PE, Transportation Manager at Carson City Public Works. He is project manager for Preserve Carson City Roads, a campaign designed to educate Carson City drivers about current roadway conditions, preservation solutions, potential funding sources, and what will happen if sufficient investments are not made to preserve our roads. Chris' presentation will be a status report on progress his project team has made to date.

The next Coffee with Supervisor Lisa Schuette will be held at 7 am on Sept. 13 at The Cracker Box.

Carson City Ward 4 Supervisor Lisa Schuette will begin holding a monthly Coffee with Lisa on Wednesday, February 8, from 7 to 8 am at the Cracker Box restaurant.

Everyone is welcome to come and discuss issues they care about.

Schuette will be holding the coffee gatherings on the second Wednesday of each month.

The speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Michael “Mike” Smith, a retired high school principal who relocated to Carson City from the Memphis area in 2017. His PowerPoint presentation will commemorate the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on the national holiday observed in his honor since 1986.

The featured speakers at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Sondra Cosgrove, PhD, professor of history at the College of Southern Nevada, former president of the League of Women Voters of Nevada, and founder and executive director of both Fair Maps Nevada and Vote Nevada.

King St in Carson City. Doors open at 5:30 pm. The forums are co-sponsored by the Nevada Appeal.

Giomi serves as the Board of Supervisor's representative on the Carson City Cultural and Tourism Authority, the Carson Water Sub-Conservancy District, and the Western Nevada Legislative Coalition. He is also Carson City’s representative to the Nevada Association of Counties.

Margaret Mello, Ward 3 candidate for the Carson City Board of Supervisors, will be the featured speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon. Area residents for over 50 years, Margaret and husband Bob are well known for the many years they served the community as concrete contractors.

Lisa Schuette, who represents Ward 4 on the Carson City Board of Supervisors, will be the featured speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon. A Carson City native, Lisa is a retired health teacher and probation officer who is best known as founding chair of the Carson Animal Services Initiative (CASI), which raised the funds needed to build and equip the city's state-of-the-art animal shelter.

The “Downtown 2020 Group”, the City, and other Organizations have worked hard to improve our downtown corridor to recruit businesses, tourism and make it a gathering place for our locals.

The next Carson City Board of Supervisor’s meeting will take place Thursday, Jan. 21 beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Robert ‘Bob’ Crowell Board Room in the Carson City Community Center, located at 851 E. William Street.

Up for discussion includes improvements to the Carson City Rifle and Pistol Range, Grants for emergency housing, the proposed Little Lane Village subdivision and more.
