Train Like a Mudder! (And Conquer a Tough Mudder Interdisciplinary Obstacle Event)
Well Being (Massage and Functional Fitness) is now accepting enrollees in their Tough Mudder Training Program. Anyone interested in obstacle course and endurance fitness events are invited to participate. Program starts Tuesday, March 14, 2016.
Participants have the choice to enroll in either a 6 or 12 week training program. The twelve week program will run through spring. Regardless the length of the program you choose, they are designed for men and women of all ages looking for a challenge, and an opportunity to take their fitness to the next level. We accommodate mixed experience levels, with modifications available to beginners, as well as more advanced moves for intermediate and advanced levels. Most importantly, each of the programs will effectively prepare those individuals interested in participating in the 2016 Tough Mudder event at Northstar, California on June 11 & 12, 2016.
“The training program is designed to challenge participants while offering a comfortable and supportive atmosphere.” said Brad Paula, owner of Well Being, certified personal trainer and endurance fitness enthusiast. “It’s been shown that people who prepare their bodies through conditioning programs for the rigors of target activities/events, tend to perform better and have reduced chronic pain and/or injury associated with those events and/or activities.” “I make sure the exercises are fun and safe, as well as challenging to ensure satisfactory results for the participants.”
Well Being (Massage and Functional Fitness) offers personal training, a variety of fitness classes and therapeutic massage in a private gym, located at 195 E. Winnie Lane (inside Fitness Defined).
