On Thursday, Oct. 12, Valhalla Tahoe presents a Chautauqua performance of the father of the Los Angeles Aqueduct and the despot of the Eastern Sierra, William Mulholland.

The entire family will enjoy this spirited collection of themed steam train rides on the Virginia Truckee Railroad. The Pumpkin Patch train will be powered by Steam Engine No. 29 and feature a stop at the Gold Hill Depot Pumpkin Patch.

Carson Chamber Singers, a 40-member chorus directed by Dr. Gary Schwartz, present Joseph & James on Friday, October 20, at 7:00 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, 200 N. Division Street in Carson City, and on Saturday, October 21, at 7:00 p.m., at Epworth United Methodist Church, 280 E. Stillwater Ave. in Fallon.

The Carson City Murals & Music Festival culminates Saturday September 30th at 7pm with a headline performance by blues legend Ian Moore in the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall (511 W. King St).
