Carson City emergency crews called to rollover at Combs Canyon Road and Meadow Wood

North Tahoe Arts has been a creative force and an educational resource for the visual arts in the North Tahoe area since 1990. As a non-profit organization, North Tahoe Arts’ success depends on the support from our local community. Monet's Table is the group's largest annual event/fundraiser.

CARSON CITY — Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval has completed his trip to Japan with the National Governors Association. Sandoval has now arrived in Australia for the second leg of his journey.

UPDATE 4:02PM: The Nevada Seismological Lab has downgraded this afternoon's earthquake to a 3.9 magnitude. Nevertheless, it was widely felt around the region.

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake shook the north Lake Tahoe region Thursday afternoon, according to the University of Nevada Seismological Lab.

NHP identifies Fallon man in fatal vehicle accident on Highway 50 in Churchill County

The Nevada Highway Patrol has identified a 79-year-old Fallon man who died Saturday, Aug. 25 in a single vehicle crash on US Highway 50 in Churchill County, 60 miles east of Fallon near Cold Springs Station.
