I Love Carson City's Weekend Event Summary: October 10-12

Happy Friday, Carson City. Many people in our area have Facebook accounts, but not everyone, so I am pleased to bring you the event list that is featured on my Facebook page, I love Carson City.

Carson City eateries will take to the streets at the center of the capital city June 15 for the 30th Taste of Downtown, a long tradition to benefit the city's shelter for domestic violence victims.

A widespread power outage Saturday evening has affected much of Douglas County, including Minden, Gardnerville and areas of the south county and Kingsbury. NV Energy reports 14,034 customers were without power as of around 9 p.m.
