Carson City Rifle and Pistol Range winter hours begin Sunday

The Range will be open to the public for drop in use Thursdays through Sundays, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

The Class of 2020-2021, while practicing social distancing and wearing the latest fashion in face masks, gathered together at 6:00 a.m. Sept. 4 on the bleachers of the CHS football field to watch their sun rise.

Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Tue, 04/02/2019 - 1:15pmThe Underwater Egg Hunt is back! Join Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space as they go on an egg hunt at the Carson City Aquatic Facility on Saturday, April 20.
Some eggs will be floating on top of the pool, some will be at the bottom of the pool. Egg hunts will be separated by age group in various pools at the Carson Aquatic Facility. The event runs from 2 to 5 p.m.
Registration is required in advance this year. You can register at www.carson.org/ccpr
The event is free and open to children up to 12-years of age. Children 6 and under must be with a participating adult.
