NHP: Fatal hit and run crash kills pedestrian, 5 dogs near Dayton

UPDATE: An arrest has been made in the Thursday morning fatal pedestrian hit and run crash that killed a 59-year-old Dayton man, identified as Michael Kuntz, according to Lyon County Sheriff's Office and the Nevada Highway Patrol. James Parisi, a 39-year-old Dayton resident, has been arrested in connection to the crime, according to NHP. Go here for the full story.

UPDATE: The Lyon County Sheriff's Office released three photos it calls a "vehicle of interest" in Thursday morning's fatal crash in the Dayton area in which an adult male walking five dogs was struck and killed in a hit and run crash. Carson City man arrested for DUI, destruction of property and leaving the scene of an accident

A 40-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 2400 block of Silver Sage Drive early Saturday morning on five charges including DUI second and leaving the scene of an accident.

The man was arrested after deputies were dispatched to the location on report of an accident with unknown injuries. Dispatch advised the vehicle left the scene after knowing down a resident’s fence
