A Dayton man was arrested Monday for suspicion of attempted robbery that ended with the suspect giving himself up, a Carson City sheriff's arrest report states.

Beginning Nov. 20, Delta airlines will offer non-stop service to Los Angeles International Airport three times daily, connecting Reno to multiple destinations in the U.S. and internationally. The new LAX flights mark Delta’s return to the market for the first time since August 2008.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing and endangered veteran. The missing person is identified as Robert Hester, 61, and was last seen near his Carson City residence on or about October 1, 2020.

V&T Railway will hold a casting call for its 2020 Santa’s Drive-Thru Village on Monday, Oct. 26 and Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Eastgate Depot in Carson City.
