Event Date:

Be aware of the kids making their way to school, whether it be on foot, by bike, scooter, or skateboard. A walk along the Wellness Trail is a good way to break up the work week. Crossroads Lounge on Winne Lane is under new ownership and has just brought karaoke favorites ‘J and M Productions’ onboard Wednesday nights. Jazz and so much more is on the menu at Living the Good Life: drinks, dinner, and a show are waiting.

Avoid getting pinched for DUI this St. Patrick's Day, have a designated driver or call a taxi

With St. Patrick’s Day arriving Thursday, the potential for intoxicated drivers being on the roadways greatly increases. As you celebrate this day with green beer, Irish whiskey or your favorite adult beverage, keep in mind that should you choose to drink and drive it is going to cost you a lot of green when you get arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI).

Hello fellow anglers, there's a lot going on in our local fishing world, despite the weather. With Topaz Lake opening up and the higher lakes having good ice on them this year.

I've had as many reports this last week as I would in the middle of May. Before we get to our reports, I would like to do a little education about ice conditions in our area. Our local weather temperatures have been extremely cold during the end of last year and into this year.

This is a picture of an unsung hero of Carson City, though few know of him. This man is out before dawn cleaning and preparing the property where he runs his business and is still at work long after dark every day throughout the year.
