Carson Comedy Club features hilarious stylings of Rodney Norman this weekend

This Friday and Saturday night will feature the hilarious comedy stylings of veteran performer Rodney Norman at the Carson Comedy Club at the Carson Nugget.

Rodney was the winner of the Rhode Island Comedy Festival and was also featured in the Boston Comedy Festival. Rodney is a former Marine with a BS degree in Philosophy. He’s been in the comedy business for 20 years and we are happy to have him on our stage.

16th Jazz and Beyond Carson City Music Festival opens Friday at Bliss, Governor's Mansion

The 16th Annual Jazz and Beyond Carson City Music and Art Festival kicks off Friday at Bliss Mansion, 608 Elizabeth Street from 4 to 6 p.m., and continues that evening at the Governor’s Mansion, directly across Mountain Street. The free event includes live music, art, food, and tours of the Bliss Mansion.

Carson City Assessor’s Office is pleased to announce the implementation of a new Property Tax and Computer Aided Mass Appraisal system.

The CAMA system will automate the appraisal and assessment administration functions, allowing for accurate valuation and complete parcel maintenance, and assessment. The system features a responsive design with an adjustable user interface suitable for all devices, effortless navigation, and data export.

This is an event like no other, where agencies who work in areas of public health and safety gather at Mills Park to meet with Carson City residents. This event features 3 hours of information booths, games, demonstrations, food and fun. Also happening Tuesday is a free robotics mini-camp for kids in nearby Silver City, Reciprocity Inc. will host a fundraiser at Rustically Divine, there's the Culinary Traveler’s Club's Polynesian Paradise featured at Bleu Café; the Carson City Classic Cinema Club will feature a Sci-Fi favorite at the BAC, plus fitness outings and more.
