Carson City School District says 3 additional employees confirmed with COVID-19

Two of the persons work in the transportation department with a connection to the previously reported case. The last day of exposure was the same as the first reported case.

Miles Construction Company has generously donated the use of a Flatbed Truck and with financial support from The Change Companies, the Nauman Foundation, and Carson Tahoe Hospital, all summer the BAC has placed musicians and bands on the flatbed and driven them through the streets and neighborhoods of Carson City and now the fun goes into September.

The American Cancer Society is hosting a poker run Saturday at Mills Park, and a free lacrosse clinic for kids ages 6-12 will be held at John L. Harvey Field. The Nevada Humane Society is virtually hosting its annual “Adopt a Duck” fundraiser for interested participants. Budget bill passes Nevada Assembly with bipartisan support, amendment allocating $50M to education

Carson City Fire Department respond to brush fire near Fremont Elementary

Senator Square: CHS says goodbye to yearbook adviser, astronomy students acknowledged in science journal

For Quinn-Davis, the publications staff became a part of her family every year and even more so when students stayed with the program throughout their high school careers.
