Carson Now celebrates 10th anniversary

Today marks the 10th anniversary of Carson Now.

Carson City's most popular local news source officially began operating as a business on March 3, 2010. Since then, it has grown to reach up to 200,000 unique users a month. Our goal, then and now, was to be the one place readers could go to find news about Carson City.

Carson Now will celebrate this milestone with a party tonight from 5-7 p.m. at Living the Good Life, 1480 North Carson Street. The party is open to the public, and there will be champagne and appetizers.

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of activities over the next three days. Restaurants in Carson City will host Valentine’s Day specials on Friday. The Carson City Celtic Music series will be at the Brewery Arts Center on Saturday featuring Fortunate Strangers.
