Carson City Humane Society's Pet of the Week: Mintski
Happy Wednesday Carson City! Have you figured out what you’ll be doing to celebrate the holidays during these trying times? Here’s a suggestion: by bringing a brand new love into your life!
For example, Mintski, our Carson City Humane Society Pet of the Week, is currently looking for his new forever home.
Mintski is a sweet, relaxed, and playful 10-year-old Siberian Husky. He was surrendered to the Humane Society after his owner passed away, which is probably the saddest thing I’ve ever heard this close to the holidays.
Mintski would thrive in a home with no children under the age of 6, and will need to meet any older children or other doggies in the home before he can be taken home. His status with cats is unknown.
Let’s hear from Mintski himself!
“Hey there, I’m Mintski, and I’d love to find a new family in time for the holidays this year. Don’t judge me based on being a senior citizen, I’m still playful and energetic and with the right home I will thrive!”
You can bring Mintski home by visiting the Carson City branch of the Nevada Humane Society located at 549 Airport Road in Carson City.
Pet of the week is sponsored by the Carson City Senior Center. They provide services, nutrition, resources and support for seniors including Nevada Care Connection program seniors and individuals with disabilities.
