Carson City deputies arrest man for sex-offender non-compliance
Carson City deputies arrested a 54-year-old Carson City man, Ismael Colunga, for being a sex offender in non-compliance, following delivery of an outstanding stalking and harassment order.
According to the report, Colunga was arrested after deputies were dispatched to a residence on Kelly Drive on a report that Colunga was at the residence.
Deputies went to the residence to deliver the outstanding stalking and harassment order that needed to be served.
The reporting party advised that Colunga was living at the rear of the property in a red van. Deputies knocked on the window of the van, and Colunga exited from the rear.
Colunga was detained in handcuffs and dispatch advised he was listed as a sex offender not in compliance, an arrest able offense.
He was taken into custody without incident.
