Supervisors seek to fill four Carson City Culture and Tourism Authority positions
The Carson City Board of Supervisors is seeking applications from persons interested in serving on the Carson City Culture & Tourism Authority. This board oversees all tourism matters within Carson City.
Meetings are held the second Monday of every month at 4 p.m. at the Community Center, Sierra Room. Applicants must be willing to serve approximately six to eight hours a month.
There are four (4) positions: Two for Hotel/Motel Industry category, one for Other Commercial Interests and one for Citizen-at-Large category. All four terms will expire in July 2022.
The Board of Supervisors will interview and appoint the qualified person to the Board. Applicants must be a representative from a Carson City Hotel/Motel/RV Park to qualify.
All members will serve without compensation.

Applications will be accepted until July 17, 2020. Interviews for this volunteer position are tentatively planned to be held at the regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting on Thursday, August 6, 2020.
