Carson City's Casino Fandango outlines new safety practices, closes buffet temporarily
Casino Fandango always places the health and safety of guests and team members as the highest priority. During this time, extra precautions will be taken because of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Already strict standards of cleanliness and sanitizing have been heightened, and the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), local and U.S. Government officials will be followed as closely as possible.
Additional team members have been devoted to cleaning and sanitizing the property, such as high contact areas like door handles, restrooms, menus, etc. This is a fast-changing environment, however some additional practices at the Carson City establishment include:
— Offering limited seating at table games to allow for social distancing
— Sanitizing all gaming machines more frequently and more thoroughly
— Eliminating self-service options in guest dining areas
— Removing condiment containers and other communal items from restaurants (individual portions will be available)
— Adhering to all social distancing guidance from Nevada’s Medical Advisory Team
Out of an abundance of caution, the Rum Jungle Buffet has been temporarily closed and Valet services are suspended. Other restaurants and venues remain open and running as normal.
Court Cardinal, Casino Fandango President and General Manager adds, “At Casino Fandango we strive to give our team members and loyal guests the best and safest experience. During this difficult time we are working hard to protect everyone in our community, and these temporary adjustments will help us achieve that goal. As a proud Nevada Casino we stand with you, and we will do anything we can to keep everyone safe that comes through our doors.”
