Another southern California dog goes missing in Carson City, public asked to help find Henry
First there was Kizzy the cattle dog who was lost and wandering for a month before being found Nov. 3 after an exhaustive search by her owner and the Carson City area community. Now there's word of another lost dog from southern California, Henry, who has been missing for two weeks.
Henry is a 7-year-old Yellow Lab/Rhodesian mix with a white spot on his chest wearing a bright blue collar. He is a rescue dog who ran off on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 near Airport Road and Arrowhead in Carson City.
He is from out of town so not familar with Carson City and his family is in desparate need to have him home. Henry was last seen Tuesday, Jan. 10 in the Salk, Fermi, McDowell residential area just north of the Carson City Airport.
On Wednesday, Henry was also spotted around State Route 341, 1.5 miles up and possibly turned back to the Industrial area in Mound House off 341. If you see a dog fitting his description — he might look like a shaved golden retriever — check the collar color. The blue collar can also look bright green. The collar in the picture is not the one he had on when he was lost.
If you have seen Henry, call 775.813.3040 or 530.277.3424. If spotted, do not approach. He may be afraid of unknown men.
