Northern Nevada HOPES Street Store hosts clothing drive and distribution
Northern Nevada HOPES is hosting a Street Store clothing drive from now through Oct. 5 and will be handing out clothes to the homeless and low-income population at HOPES on Oct. 6 from 10am to 2pm at 467 Ralston Street in Reno.
The Street Store is a “free pop-up clothing store” event hosted by organizations across the globe which allow patrons to choose outfits and take them home for free.
HOPES is looking for donations of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and shoes as well as jackets and winter apparel. Donations can be dropped off at the HOPES administrative building located at 467 Ralston St. until Oct. 5. HOPES’ staff would also like to encourage people to donate jackets and winter wears to help distribute warm clothing for the upcoming cold season.
The Street Store will be open for Oct. 6 in HOPES administrative parking lot to coincide with one of the Northern Nevada Food Bank’s food distribution days. For more information contact suzy@nnhopes.org.
