Native and Newcombers Club
Native and Newcombers Club invites you to come to our monthly meeting Thursday, April 12 at 11:30 a.m. inside Red's Old 395 Grill on South Carson Street in Carson City.
Our club goals are to reach out to local and new residents in our area with friendly fellowship. Our object is to support our community, such as scholarships to WNCC, Carson High school, and Douglas High School.
Other organizations we support are kids in transition from domestic abuse.
Kids and horses therapy program, Tender Loving Care (TLC), allows terminally ill kids who are hospital-bound a chance to go to a camp away from the hospital for a week of fun.
Our club is all volunteer and charitably-run. We meet the second Thursday of every month, except August, at 11:30 a.m.
We meet at a restaurant, each order our lunch, and then have our meeting immediately following lunch.
We make crafts and hold sales to raise funds to meet these goals. If you are looking for fellowship with a friendly group, please come this week to our meeting and give us the opportunity to meet you.
