Carson City Parks and Recreation hosts Saturday pollinator garden site work day
Pollinators, like honey bees, bumble bees, and monarch butterflies, are in serious need of quality habitat in northern Nevada. If you’d like to be a part of this awesome community garden that will be a haven for these important species, we’d love your help!
Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space will be raking and picking out the shrubbery to make room for spring planting, so make sure to bring water, sunscreen, and comfy clothes. Gloves and snacks will be provided. The event is from 9 a.m. to noon. Click on flier for more details.
The clean-up site is behind the Foothill Garden hoophouse at the west side of the hospital's parking lot. You are not required to stay for the whole time. Come for a little bit or do help us from start to finish. Any amount of help is welcomed! Hope to see you there!
