Emma Arnold is America's fiercest sweetheart. Equal parts outrageous and thoughtful, her stand-up comedy is engaging, honest, and comes from the heart. Emma is a third generation beekeeper and honey farmer. She is the co-founder and artistic director of the 208 Comedyfest, as well as the co-director of Comedyfort (part of the Treefort Festival), and her debut comedy album, "Shut Up, Calvin" is available from Rooftop Comedy. When not touring, Emma lives in Idaho, where she keeps kids and bees with varying degrees of success.

A widespread power outage Saturday evening has affected much of Douglas County, including Minden, Gardnerville and areas of the south county and Kingsbury. NV Energy reports 14,034 customers were without power as of around 9 p.m.
