Carson High Cheer will host a fundraising carwash this Saturday, July 22. Come down and get your car washed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Special Olympics Nevada and The Law Enforcement Torch Run are teaming up to host a special “Tip-A-Cop” fundraiser event at Chili’s Bar & Grill. Law enforcement officers, along with Special Olympics Nevada athletes, will volunteer their time as “celebrity waiters,” interacting and serving guests for tips.

Musicians can secure a spot at the swap meet to show their musical equipment. Pop ups will be allowed and electricity will be available to use to demo gear. Come join the fun Aug 27th. bclester51@gmail.com

Hot off the heels of their first weekend celebrating their one year anniversary, the Nashville Social Club is keeping The Spirit of Music City in Carson City alive and is opening their home to customers seven days a week. To top it all off, Nashville Social Club will be extending their brunch services to Saturday and Sunday, along with hosting their first pop-up shop on July 15 and 16 during their first full brunch weekend.

In our community we believe that children deserve to grow up in safe and loving homes. At times, children may witness severe domestic violence between their parents, are afraid for their safety when their parents are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or have parents struggling to remain stable due to severe mental health issues. These children are growing up in unstable situations and feel alone and scared.

Looking for ways to give back this summer? We are starting a four-part volunteer series that will be held in our parks and open spaces. Participate in our 'Give Back Summer' series starting on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

On July 14, the Carson City Moose Lodge 2709 is having the second annual wine train event in Mills Park from 4:30 to 7:00. There will be three train stops for the riders get off and taste some premium wines and craft beers.

Each ticket allows for 10 samplings and only 100 tickets will be sold for the price of $20 per ticket.

The Battle Born Patriots Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution is once again hosting the Reading of the Declaration of Independence and Liberty Bell Ringing at the Nevada State Museum in Carson City on Independence Day, Tuesday, July 4 at 10 a.m.
