Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health to use settlement money for immunization efforts

Free screening of Vietnam War documentary today at Western Nevada College

Carson City regional Scouts kick off 2013 food drive with Nov. 16 neighborhood collection
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Tue, 11/05/2013 - 2:57pmThe holiday season brings out plenty of good will, including food drives through the Pinenut District of the Nevada Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Beginning this weekend, an estimated 400 Scouters comprising Cub Scout packs, Boy Scout troops, and adult leaders of the District will distribute 16,000 flyers announcing the food drive. The flyers will be distributed to area homes between Saturday, Nov. 9 and Wednesday Nov. 13.
Carson City restaurant and food inspection report

This week's inspections for the week ending Oct. 31, include a convenience store, various departments of two retail grocers, the kitchen of Carson City Community Center, restaurants and fast food restaurants.
