Norton ftnorton@nevadaappeal.com A middle school shop teacher was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly made a comment earlier this month about hiring a hit man after a meeting at the Carson City School District offices.Wayne Phillip Haack, 61, an Eagle Valley Middle School teacher, was arrested on suspicion of gross misdemeanor threats to a school employee at 7:37 a.m. Tuesday at the district office, 1402 W. King St.According to the arrest report, Haack was angry after a meeting about a "pay issue" on Nov. 5."As Wayne walked towards the front door of the school district office, he pulled out a knife and stated to a receptionist, 'For the money I won't make, I could hire a hit man," Deputy Scott Davis wrote in the arrest report.The report states that on Tuesday morning, Haack and a union representative met with Associate Superintendent Jose Delfin at the King Street office. When Delfin allegedly asked Haack if he had made the statement, Haack allegedly stated he did, and showed
