Due to pandemic mitigation measures, Fair Maps Nevada won a court ruling extending the signature-gathering deadline for their redistricting reform ballot question to August 3rd.

Rummage Sale and Barbecue raises funds for the Lighthouse Lodge program in Carson City Saturday

The rummage sale, at 251 Jeanell Dr., suite 4, is open noon-5:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays and 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with a BBQ on Saturdays.
Second of weekly Dayton Farmers Market of season happens Thursday

State of Nevada receives emergency management reaccreditation

This achievement was approved through a rigorous and voluntary assessment process coordinated through the Department of Public Safety’s Division of Emergency Management, Homeland Security. The State was notified of the approval last week.

Error in Carson City COVID-19 test performance leaves local resident in limbo

However, the situation became all that more complicated when the test was administered incorrectly by Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS).
CCHHS admitted to the error, and has rescheduled a second test to be performed today.
