This week's Women to Women features Elinor Bugli, President of the Carson City Symphony Association. She is also an organizer for the Jazz and Beyond Festival. Elinor and her husband have been instrumental (pun intended) to the creation of the Carson City Symphony and many, many other aspects of Carson City arts.

This week's episode of Women to Women features Lori Bagwell and Karen Abowd. Two residents who are running for Supervisor, but in different wards — Abowd, Ward 1 as an Incumbent and Bagwell in Ward 3.

Both of these women are business veterans as well as experienced in working with budgets. Karen will be running for re-election in November, while Lori will be running for the first time in an elected position.

This week’s Women to Women is with Diane Hansen, Chief Inspiration Officer of What Works Coaching, a coaching firm that has helped people worldwide with their businesses, careers, mindsets, and profit margins. The Texas native received her bachelor’s degree from California State University-San Bernardino College of Business and Public Administration respectively.

This week's Women to Women is with Judy Bendure, a 46-year resident of Carson City. Judy is retired from the State of Nevada after 25 years of service. However, her energies and drive to maintain excellent health and balance for her own body have led her to become one of the area's foremost certified trainers in Pilates.

Judy is certified as an aerobic instructor,as well as a certified Personal Trainer. Her personal story and that of the history of Pilates is well worth viewing.

This week's episode of Women to Women features Kris Smith, a mortgage banker from Bank of The West in Carson City.

This week's Women to Women features Rebecca Ortiz, an 18-year-old Carson High School graduate. Rebecca plans on attending University of Nevada, Reno for premedical studies this September.

She is the youngest woman ever to be interviewed on Women to Women, but it is the encompassing aspect of her senior high graduation project that brought her into local and statewide attention.

This week's episode of Women to Women features Janet Geary, publisher of Nevada Magazine.

In January 1936, Nevada Highways and Parks, known today as Nevada Magazine, was introduced by the state highway department. Always an information source for Nevada residents and tourists, what started as a digest-sized bulletin has grown into a colorful magazine.

This week's Women to Women interview is with Mrs. Jill Dickman of Sparks who is running for Nevada Assembly District 31. Jill is a businesswoman with her husband, Tom. She is also in demand as a gifted harpist who performs for several local Northern Nevada groups.

This rather shy but intelligent lady has a mind of her own, and she feels strongly about accountability when running for public office and representing the people.

This week's Women to Women features Natasha Gibson whose husband, Don Gibson, is running for Carson City Sheriff. Natasha is a Nevada native, born to Reno.

Natasha was raised mostly in Carson City as a youngster and graduated from Pioneer High School. She and her husband share Brandon, 2-years-old and Dylan, 13. Natasha is employed by Advanced Industries by Design.

Mrs. Gibson credits her husband with helping her through an extremely difficult period of her life, and the insight that he gave her is one of the strengths that he is able to give others, according to Natasha.

This week's Women to Women Nevada is the second in a three-part interview series. This latest episode features Meliah Gonzales, a Carson City District Court bailiff and wife of Daniel Gonzales, a Carson City Sheriff's Office sergeant and candidate for sheriff.

Mrs. Gonzales has her degree in criminal justice. She and Daniel have three children — an 8-year-old and 5-year-old twins. Mrs. Gonzales knows her husband better than anyone and she shares her views openly and candidly in her interview.

This week's featured guest on Women to Women Nevada is with Phyllis Furlong, wife of Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong. The program is the first installment of a three featuring the wives of candidates for Carson City Sheriff.

Phyllis was born in Arkansas, but came with her family as a young child to Carson City. She really considers herself as a full-fledged Carsonite-Nevadan.

This week's Women to Women Nevada is with Carson City Chamber of Commerce Director Ronni Hannaman.

Before assuming the responsibilities as a top administrator for the Chamber which she has been for 8.5 years, Ronni developed and expanded her passion for travel and places as President of Pennsylvania Travel Council in Harrisburg, Pa., then as Director of Visitor Marketing for the San Diego Convention and Visitors' Bureau, and finally as proprietor of her own travel agency in San Diego, Calif.

This week's Women to Women Nevada guests are Sally Zola and Brenda Silis. Both are involved in the Capital City Circles Initiative in Carson City.

This community effort is maintained to help elevate people out of poverty by creating healthy relationships that cross economic and social barriers to help establish self-reliance.

DeDe Stevens of Carson City is this week's guest on Women to Women. Ms. Stevens was born in Bogota, Columbia of a Columbian birth mother who shortly gave her up for adoption in a Bogota orphanage.

Upon being adopted by an American family, DeDe officially entered the United States when she was 12 years old. She is a graduate of Arizona Western College in Yuma, Ariz., with a degree in Spanish.

Ms. Stevens has also spent 26 years in the National Guard from which she is now retired.

This week's Women to Women Nevada interview is with Sue Lowden, candidate for Lt. Governor of Nevada. Sue candidly shares her reasons why she's chosen to re-enter the political arena and what she intends to deliver to the people of Nevada.

Ms. Lowden discusses challenges she's faced and how's she taken on those challenges. She is also a proud Nevadan who has been working both in front and behind the scenes to bring international and national interests to the state.

This week's Women to Women Nevada features Kellie Butterworth, a registered dental hygienist. She works for the Washoe Tribal Health Center and has done missionary work in South America.

Women to Women will feature an interview with Sue Lowden, a candidate for Nevada lieutenant governor, on Thursday, March 27. The broadcast had been set to air on Charter TV this week.

This week's Women to Women guest, Nancy McPherson, is a most compassionate lady with a heart for the underdogs. She's a volunteer with the Northern Nevada Regional Animal Center in Dayton.

"Up up and away in my beautiful balloon" were the words of the Fifth Dimension's famous song of the 70s and those same words could describe Katie Griggs, this week's guest on Women to Women.

Griggs, a local balloonist, shares her experiences as a pilot with host Carol Paz. The great Reno Balloon Race is Sept. 5-7, and Griggs will have a balloon on Nevada Day.

The tables are turned in the latest Women to Women program when regular host Carol Paz answers questions.

Agency 36 marketing owner, Carson City Quarterly publisher and Carson HorseShoe casino spokeswoman Dana Freund sits down with Paz to peel back the onion layers of life and living in Carson City. Paz discusses books she's read and digested, new friends made and those qualities that make Carson City a special place to call home.

Dr. Gabriel's educational background began at Yale University where he graduated Summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and was one of eleven graduating seniors elected as Scholar of the House. He was also a Visiting Scholar at Cambridge University in England.
