Ride is free and will normally consist of two loops which are 10-15 miles long each, this will allow a rider to do 10-15 miles or 20-30 miles depending on the loops. The ride pace will vary depending on rider level, but will usually be about a 12-16 mph pace. This is a no drop ride.

NHP: Traffic issues near Sand Harbor causing dangerous conditions and congestion
Submitted by editor on Fri, 08/11/2017 - 5:21amEarly mornings, especially on Saturdays and Sundays, in the area of State Route 28 near Sand Harbor, there have been many reported traffic issues, traffic backups, stopped vehicles on the road waiting to enter the Sand Harbor Beach entrance, and other dangerous situations before the park opens. Traffic backs up all the way into Incline Village and causes long delays.

Dutch oven cooking is a camp-time favorite, and the rangers at Mormon Station State Park will be giving a demonstration on how easy and delicious it can be. If you’ve got kids, test their mettle at the annual Capitol City Triathlon. Open to kids of all ages, they will bike, run, and swim their way to the finish line. The third annual Sassabration event kicks off with a multi-colored, costume bike parade from the Brewery Arts Center to the celebration at Sassafras Eclectic Food Joint. Multiple bands, vendors, non-profit booths, free swimming at the Carson Hot Springs, not to mention the yummy food and drink available make this a not-to-be-missed festival.
