Rummage Sale

Sierra Adrenaline Training Center is dedicated to taking the sport of cheer to a new level in our local area. It is our policy to never turn away an athlete based on their ability to pay. We are having a Rummage Sale to support our athletes. Please come check it out!

This Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Carson High School Health Occupations Students of America members will host car wash and rummage sale in the U at the front of the school. Pre-sale car wash tickets are $3 and can be purchased from any HOSA student. The cost will go up to $5 the day of the car wash. All proceeds go to help send HOSA students to State and National conferences to compete and represent Carson City.

The Carson City Emblem Club No. 507 will hold its Annual Rummage Sale on Friday Sept 12, 5-7 pm and Saturday Sept. 13 fro 8 am- 2 pm.

Join us for the 4th annual Comstock Community Rummage Sale on Memorial weekend in Silver City. Sat & Sun May 24 & 25....Tons of items!!! Great deals for a great cause. All proceeds benefit the Preservation of the Comstock Historic District. Event held at the town park in Silver City, just 4 miles south of Virginia City off SR 341.

The Carson Tahoe Health Auxiliary hosts a rummage sale Friday, May 2, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, May 3, 8 a.m. to noon at the Eagles Lodge, 1380 E. 5th St. (between Roop and Saliman streets) in Carson City.

Donations for the sale are also needed. Items can be taken to the Eagles Lodge, Wednesday, April 30 and Thursday, May 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Auxiliary members will be there to accept your donations. NO LARGE APPLIANCES, COMPUTERS, OR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT PLEASE!

Carson City / Storey County 4-H Readying for Annual Fabric Sale

Area 4-H members are on the lookout for donations of fabric/sewing notions and clean, useable household items. Sewing notions, crafting items, sewing machines, etc. are all welcome donations. Donations can be dropped off now through January 31, 2014 at University of Nevada Cooperative Extension, 2621 Northgate Lane, Suite 15, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you have large items to donate, please call 887-2252 in advance. Donations will be taken at Fuji Park on Friday, February 7 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Youth Theatre Carson City is excited to announce our upcoming auditions for SHREK: The Musical, an exciting adaptation of the classic DreamWorks film to be held on Sept. 14, at 10 a.m. in the gymnasium at the Carson City Community Center. The show will run one weekend, Jan. 10-12, 2014 in the Bob Boldrick Theatre at the Community Center.

The Carson City Pop Warner Cheerleading squad will host a rummage sale this Saturday, Aug. 10. All proceeds go to National Competition in Florida.

The event will be at the Carson City Plaza Hotel, 801 South Carson Street. It runs from 8:00am to 3:00pm

We'll be having a rummage sale at the Eagles Wings church parking lot. Please stop by and see what we have at 150 E. Roland Street, Carson City, NV 89701. We're raising funds for the church. We'll also be selling tamales, soda and water.

Support Food for Thought and homeless kids in the Carson City, Douglas, Lyon and Storey County school districts. Food for Thought provides meals to local homeless children on weekends when there are no school meals available to them. Gently used items are requested for donation for the rummage sale.

ANNOUNCING A PEDDLER'S FAIRE AT SIERRA CREST ACADEMY ON SATURDAY MAY 15TH FROM 10-3PM.
Minden's local charter school is having a Peddler's Faire for their fund raiser this year. There will be a huge rummage sale and a chili cook-off as well as vender's selling their wears! The kid's will be doing fencing and archery demonstrations through out the day and there will be live music by Tuck Williams and Michelle Supelana-Mix.
