Rummage and Yummage Chili Feed Fundraiser
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Tue, 04/04/2023 - 10:09pmCome help the Carson Victory Rollers fundraise to help get to the C-Squads Tournament in Angels Camp, Calif. We will be serving chili, cornbread, and chili dogs. $25 for a meal, one soft drink, and one raffle ticket.
$10 for kids 12 and under equals a meal and soft drink. Additional tickets may be purchased at the event as well. We’ll have lots of prizes to win and lots of junk to sort through. Find some treasures to take home, have some chili, and help your favorite local roller derby team achieve a goal they’ve been working so hard for!

Franktown Apples in Washoe Valley is hosting apple picking Friday through Sunday. In celebration of National Public Lands Day, Nevada State Parks will have a fee-free day on Saturday filled with hikes and tours. Rummage Sale and Barbecue raises funds for the Lighthouse Lodge program in Carson City Saturday

The rummage sale, at 251 Jeanell Dr., suite 4, is open noon-5:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays and 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with a BBQ on Saturdays.

Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Receives Generous Donation from Shepherd of the Sierra Lutheran Church

A generous donation in the amount of $3,147.25 was presented on July 24, which will join funds already raised for the vehicle purchase.
