Homemakers are contract employees who can earn $10 an hour for approximately 20 hours a week.
Duties include homemaker and chore assistance with housekeeping such as dusting, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, floor maintenance, laundry and linen changing for individuals 60 and older.

Metastatic beast cancer is an incurable disease. It is when breast cancer has spread beyond the breast, possibly to the lymph nodes or other organs in the body. Around 40,000 people a year in the US die from it. It is the advanced part of breast cancer and it is rarely discussed.

The VIPS for Vets program has grown tremendously over the past two years as it serves to accommodate day-to-day errands for homebound veterans. Carson City’s veterans will continue to have the reassurance in knowing they can rely on VIPS for Vets transport if needed. With the addition of the new reliable vehicle, this service can help more veterans travel greater distances.
