After burying the remains, he climbed back on his tractor to resume plowing. A small movement by the wheel caught his eye. Looking down, he saw two tiny kittens lying in the dirt. They were cold, hungry and frightened.
South Tahoe man arrested after allegedly dropping wallet containing meth inside casino
Submitted by admin on Wed, 07/29/2015 - 10:53amCarson City Sheriff's deputies arrested two South Lake Tahoe men Tuesday night after one of them allegedly dropped a wallet on the floor of a casino that contained methamphetamine.
According the the arrest report, security at a casino in the 3800 block of South Carson Street contacted dispatch about finding a lost wallet. The responding deputy opened the wallet and found a piece of folded up paper containing what he suspected was methamphetamine.

According to the arrest report, Stig Corrin Strong of Minden fought with another prisoner with Strong determined to be the primary aggressor. Video footage showed that he pushed, punched and choked another inmate.

Carson City deputies make several felony related arrests during weekend
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Mon, 10/06/2014 - 9:36amCarson City sheriff's deputies arrested a pair Friday on felony drug conspiracy and trafficking charges after finding nearly 28 grams of methamphetamine inside a vehicle.
The arrests happened Friday, 8:54 p.m. in the area of Hot Springs and Nye. David Pomjoon Kim, 44, of Carson City and Cory Michael Harmon, 24, of Gardnerville, each face felony charges of possession of methamphetamine for sale, drug trafficking and conspiracy. They were taken to Carson City jail with bail amounts of $40,000 each.
Man jailed on felony child abuse charge
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Fri, 08/22/2014 - 10:03amA 51-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday on a felony charge of child abuse after allegedly hitting and punching two juveniles, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Michael Todd Presley was arrested at 9:10 p.m. in the 4500 block of Short Putt Drive. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. According to the arrest report, officers were called to Governor’s Field at 4:15 p.m. regarding a report of suspected child abuse.
