The Carson City Symphony, conducted by David Bugli, will perform "A Celebration in Two Sharps" on Sunday, April 28, 4 p.m., at the Carson City Community Center's Bob Boldrick Theater, 851 E. William Street. Guest soloist Stephen Framil will play the Cello Concerto by Antonín Dvořák.

The program also features Wagner's Overture to "Rienzi" and Schubert's "Unfinished" Symphony. All three compositions are associated with keys having two sharps, D major and B minor.

Enjoy St. Patrick's Day with Live Irish Music, Corned Beef and Cabbage, True Irish Coffee, Green Beer and World's Largest Selection of Beers, Great Company and Good Times for All and Help Red's turn Green for St. Patrick's Day. Wear your green and be a part of Red's Old 395 annual St. Patrick's Day extravaganza.

Sing along, dance a jig or tap your toe to the real Irish music of Gairin Celtic Music. It's a St. Patrick's Day tradition for everybody in the family and this is a family-friendly event.

The Rotary Club of Carson City and High Sierra Brewing Company presents the Beer and Pizza Championships, March 31 at Carson Mall.

Come and taste the best beer and pizza in the region, and vote for your favorite. You can also enjoy the Final Four on TV at the same time, or take part in basketball shooting contests. There will be a live auction for trips and events, a silent auction for great local gifts, and a drawing for a Samuel Adams trip to Boston.

A Carson City Tradition on St. Patrick's Day: Gairin Music performs at Red's Old 395 Bar & Grille Restaurant, 1055 S Carson St., Carson City.

On 3/17 Red's Goes Green, so wear your green and enjoy your favorite Irish songs and tunes with Gairin at Red's!

Red's Old 395 will be the designated place for food, networking and fun at the Carson City Chamber of Commerce's monthly mixer. The mixer will be on Wednesday, Sept. 15, beginning at 5 p.m. The event is free for members and $20 for non-members

Get a lesson in giddy-up with Cowboy 101 at the Hampton Inn & Suites.
Wrangler Rich Wontorski of Carson City's R&D Ranch will be the featured guest to introduce the Hampton Inn & Suites new "Cowboy 101 Package" that will be part of their new offering for guests. The public is invited to meet Wrangler Rich and to ride some of the horses he will be bringing on Aug. 24 between 5pm and 7pm. The Inn will be serving complimentary Red's Old 395 Chili and all the fixin's along with wine for the adults. The Hampton Inn is located at 10 Hospitality Way in north Carson City.
