The BAC is hosting the 2019-2020 Celtic Music Series for its sixth season. Shows will begin October 19, 2019 and will continue until May 16, 2020.

The Brewery Arts Center in Carson City is hosting the Celtic Music Series for the 2019-2020 season. The series hosts seven performances by regional, national, and international Celtic musicians from October through May.

Several hundred made their way Wednesday evening to the 9-11 Memorial at Mills Park for a remembrance of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorists attacks on American soil, paying tribute to those who lost their lives with words, song, prayer and hope.

The Dave Matthews Band has made Harvey’s outdoor venue a regular stop since 2013, appearing on the shores of Lake Tahoe four of its last six tours. Typically, Tahoe fits the routing from the annual three-show Labor Day run at The Gorge, on the way to shows in California. Often that means the band is a bit weary and the sets feel transitional and somewhat soft.

Going into its 9th year, Carson Tahoe Health Foundation has brought together musicians and music lovers from throughout Northern Nevada and Lake Tahoe for a free summer concert celebration to raise money for area cancer patients. This Friday, HopeFest9 returns, with international platinum-selling singer-songwriter Eric Hutchinson and the Believers.

We're heading into the midweek, Wednesday, August 21, 2019 with sunny skies and activities throughout the day including day 2 of the Jukebox International Film Festival at the Carson City Community Center, Jazz and Beyond festival performances to complement Wheeled Food Wednesday at the BAC followed by a classic outdoor movie to boot, "West Side Story." A festive gathering that celebrates music-themed films arrives in Carson City beginning Tuesday, delivering top-notch features about music and musicians, styles, songwriting and music video making.

The Jukebox International Film Festival is the place music and flicks collide, bringing enthusiasts and artists together from across the country to the capital city for three days, offering free showings, meet-and-greets and more.

The Wicked Tinkers headline the Levitt AMP Carson City outdoor Music Series this Saturday at the Brewery Arts Center’s Change Companies Outdoor Amphitheater. Only two shows remain for Carson City concert series and this Saturday's show, you won't want to miss.

Heading into Thursday, August 15, 2019 we can expect hot weather to continue with high temperatures near 100. Among events for the day, there will be a wreath remembrance ceremony for fallen Carson City law enforcement officers at the sheriff's office, a Muscle Powered morning hike, art showings, and a meeting of the Status of Women in Nevada group at the Carson Nugget. As part of the Jazz and Beyond music festival, there will be an outdoor "Woodstock Remembered" concert at Comma Coffee and a music presentation, "All About that Bass" by Scot Marshall and Friends at the Nevada State Museum.

Heading into Tuesday, August 13, there's a galaxy of events lined up, beginning at midnight with a meteor shower watch party at WNC's Jack C. Davis Observatory. This Saturday, the Greenhouse Garden Center in Carson City will host its 16th annual “Greenhouse Garden Art Fest” which acts a platform for artists to show and sell their work, musicians to serenade the community, all the while amongst the backdrop of the Greenhouse in full bloom.
