2020 Reno 'TubaChristmas' virtual concert video released

The video features tuba, euphonium, and baritone horn players of all ages from Northern Nevada and from California, Arizona, Oregon, Colorado, Kansas, New York, and Sweden.
Three Carson City music students awarded Rosemary Nebesky Memorial Scholarships
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Tue, 12/15/2020 - 9:29amJonah Toral, Nathan Parsons, and Bita Jazani were awarded the fifth annual Rosemary Nebesky Memorial Scholarships by the Carson City Symphony Association this month. The scholarship was established by John and Jennifer Webley of Santa Rosa, Calif., in memory Rosemary Nebesky, who loved music, loved children, and had been a friend and board member of the Carson City Symphony Association.
Carson City Symphony announces Project Euterpe Episode 11 with Carson Chamber Singers

Choral Director Richard "Ricky" Hutton leads the 27 singers and brass quintet.
Carson City Symphony virtual project pays tribute to figures in city's late 1800s history

Joyful Noise Holiday Treat Concert 2020 returns tonight via live stream

Anyone who bought tickets ahead of time can get reimbursed or have the money donated to the Carson City Symphony Assoc. At the end of the live-streaming at Facebook.com/CarsonCitySymphony, people can stay on and see the newly released video of Sweelinck's "Hodie Christus natus est" by the Carson Chamber Singers.

The next event, A Day at the Ranchette, is today, Sunday, September 20, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., features the Sagebrush Rebels. This event was moved from Silver Saddle Ranch, and in-person attendance is sold out. However, it will be live-streamed on Facebook by A to Zen Media in Carson City.
