It will be presented Saturday, November 9th, 2019 at the Governor's Mansion, 606 Mountain St., Carson City.
The program includes buffet dinner, interactive show, no host bar, and raffles. Doors open at 4:30PM with the show starting at 5:00PM and buffet dinner at 6:00PM.

Thursday opens the first of the four-day annual RSVP Nevada Day Carnival at Mills Park with $1 ride family night hosted by Carson City Toyota. Nevada System of Higher Education’s new and unique partnership with higher education institutions in the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico, began in earnest this week as a group of instructors visit WNC to participate in the accelerated Siemens Mechatronics certification program.

Carson City Rifle and Pistol Club discusses the city ending use agreement for Rifle Range
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Fri, 10/18/2019 - 8:47amThis afternoon the Carson Rifle and Pistol Club posted the following message for its membership and the shooting public regarding the end of its role assisting the city in operating the Carson City Rifle and Pistol Range:
The "use agreement" between the city and the Carson Rifle and Pistol Club will expire on October 18th and the city has declined to renew it. Consequently, the club will no longer provide Range Safety Officers or assist in operating the range as of this Friday.

Central Lyon Fire adds 2 new engines, first new apparatus in nearly 10 years

Carson City Sheriff Canines will be safer in the field thanks to generous donation funding first aid training

“The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit greatly appreciates the generosity of Carson City Toyota,” said Furlong. “Year after year, Carson City Toyota has provided donations to the unit, which has been used to promote the health and training of our canine partners.”
Carson City Public Works announces temporary closure of Linear Ditch Trail

The multiuse path will be closed from the east end of the Linear Ditch, east of Fremont Elementary School and continue west to South Roop Street along Governor’s Field. Maintenance is anticipated to take up to several weeks.

Evans Creek Fire southwest of Reno investigated as human caused, fire crews working on containment

The fire was human-caused and under investigation by law enforcement.
