Vintage cars and trucks lined up alongside each other while participants strolled around the park and soaked in the warm summer sun.

“It’s our first year joining the event,” said Petsmart Manager Rachel Garcia. “We have several different shelters here along with food, face painting, and more.”

UPDATE: The Lyon County Sheriff's Office released three photos it calls a "vehicle of interest" in Thursday morning's fatal crash in the Dayton area in which an adult male walking five dogs was struck and killed in a hit and run crash. Nevada agriculture officials warn against human, pet contact with bats after 8 confirmed rabid

Rabies is common in bats throughout Nevada, and bat activity tends to increase between the months of May and October.

National Night Out is a way for residents to meet those who serve and protect our community as well as agencies that provide services, especially in areas of public health and safety. Agencies such as Search and Rescue, Health and Human Services, Care Flight, Advocates to End Domestic Violence, Carson City Sheriff’s Office, Carson City Fire Department, Nevada Highway Patrol, Department of Wildlife, agency advocates and dozens more.

Our dogs would run through nearby fields and get sprayed. When the golf course was built across the creek from us and numerous houses went in, skunks disappeared.

Carson City deputies arrest three in felony drug bust

According to the report, Special Enforcement Team deputies arrested Gregory Dee Shoemaker, Nicole Iona Contreras and Devin Edward Keller after receiving multiple drug complaints about a residence.

The exhibition runs now to Oct. 24, 2019. CCAI will host a reception for the artists on Friday, July 12, 5-7 p.m. in the Sierra Room, and the artists will give a brief talk about their work at 5:30 p.m.
